Would unopened panax ginseng from September 2018 still be safe and effective? Or would it be better to get a new jar?

damn daniel. "Planned obsolescence" - a new phrase and a new word
- another reason I love you, bruh. Keep up that mind. We all rely on it, and cherish / cheer for it!

Planned obsolescence is usually seen in the appliance and electronics industries, but it is a thing everywhere. Companies want regular cash flow. So they make their products in such a way that you constantly have to be buying from them. It annoys the shit out of me! I would gladly pay double for certain things that would last a long time, but they don't exist anymore! New brands do try to do quality for a while, but are always bought up by the big guys when they grow enough. Then those big companies start cutting corners and reducing quality on things till they run that brand name into the ground. Then they rinse and repeat.
