I was referring to this study, which analyzed properties of different extracts, Sorghum Bicolor extract showed a -54.71 5-ar enzyme inhibition, showing it actually increased the enzymes.
5α-Reductase type 1 inhibition of Oryza sativa bran extract prepared by
supercritical carbon dioxide fluid
There is a cool chart, showing the properties of various extracts in 3.4.2.7. The 5˛-reductase type 1 inhibition assay. Figure 1.
"The O. sativa and C. tinctorius crude extracts and fraction No. 4
of the O. sativa crude extract also exhibited marked 5AR inhibition
activity at 92.73 ± 6.91, 91.52 ± 7.69 and 90.89 ± 8.5% ofthe control,
respectively, while the S. bicolor crude extract and their fractions
showed the negative result which stimulated the production of
5-
-reductase enzyme. "
If you want to test this out for yourself, there is a product called Tri sugar shield, by life extension that contains S. Bicolor extract. From my own personal experience it definitly will counteract the antiandrogenic effects of a heavy 5ar inhibitory stack, and bring back th…
