Emphasis on might. But Dr. Fauci lays out his concern about ACE inhibitors and coronavirus in his coronavirus update today, and EGCG is an ACE inhibitor.
But I want to emphasize that the jury is still out on this, and that several cardiology associations do not think the current evidence supports any action at this time.

Latching on to this; should these zinc ionophores be taken with zinc?
Based on what I read at https://www.reddit.com/r/China_Flu/comments/fko36h/lets_talk_about_herbals_that_have_the_exact_same/ EGCG + zinc look like it may help against covid19 and could be used pre-emptively.
I'm intending to take both unless some really good arguments come up against it.

Yes, you would want to take zinc ionophores with zinc for the optimal effects.
