ND's Nigella Sativa Extract

Does anyone know where I can get the black seed extract powder that ND sells? I would like to make my own capsules. Have people tried the powder extract and an oil supplement back to back? How do they compare? Any other powder that is high in thymoquinone would be appreciated.

Sure, but if you read how their operation works in general, they continually have to reject batches, despite working with the more reliable suppliers. Since finding those suppliers takes enormous effort they're certainly not going to tell us.

We had to reject multiple batches of nigella sativa powder before we got one that met our specs. Our supplier also does it for us under contract to our specifications, and does not sell to anyone else. Most of the powders we tested when developing ours were coming out in the 2-2.5% range. We also had to develop our own methods for testing, as Nigella sativa acts a bit weird compared to some other things.
We are working on offering a larger size of the Nigella sativa powder, though. That should allow us to get the price per mg down a bit for people. However, we are just trying to maintain inventory right now as it is with the breakdown in the supply chain.
