Why is the 3% rosavin Rhodiola Rosea extract so much more expensive than the salidroside one if they're both Rhodiola Rosea?

Not necessarily, no. Quality is independent of standardization. You can have high quality extracts of both types.

Because the rosavins are mainly found in the rhizomes, and are actually low in the root itself. Salidroside is found in high amounts in the entire root. So you have a lot less plant material that can be used for a high-r

Possible Fake?

Always make sure it says "sold by Nootropics Depot" when buying from us on Amazon. We have brand protection on there, which is supposed to prevent hijacking of our listings. However, they seem to have found a way around

Replying to anexanhume · Rhodiola Rosea is now endangered, so unless ND changes to a synthesized version like NNB is doing, it may go away.

We are actually working with a company that is cell culturing plants in vats, and Rhodiola is one of them. We think that is the future, if they can bring costs down.
