I wanted to give our customers an update, since we have been getting a lot of questions surrounding the Coronavirus situation. We here at Nootropics Depot are currently operating like normal. However, we are taking the situation seriously. Currently, orders are being processed and shipped out like you would normally expect. However, things can change rapidly. We have been using enhanced biological protections at our facility, along with having multiple non-essential employees work from home, in an effort to social distance in a responsible manner. We have implemented a pandemic response plan, and have educated all our employees about the facts surrounding the current situation. We are ensuring that we as a company, along with all our employees individually, respond in a level-headed and intelligent manner to this ongoing issue. We will work to maintain normal operations for our customers for as long as we can, while ensuring that we are being responsible regarding the overall public health of our community. If the situation does change, and we are forced to alter our operations in a manner that might affect customers, or the timely fulfillment of orders, we will notify you via ema…

Thanks for the update, I plan to place my order tonight or tomorrow at the latest so if you have to shut down for a week or two I won't run out of my supplements.

That's probably a good idea. We already have non-essential personnel working from home. So customer support is working from home, and we have a skeleton crew for any return processing that needs to happen. Most of admin is working from home, along with my lab director. We have a few essential personnel there handling the onsite tasks, and supporting the remote people. Production and fulfillment are all still working like normal. Production should be fine, as they are always in clean rooms that are HEPA filtered, and they are wearing lab coats, masks, gloves, and hairnets. Fulfillment is not as protected as production, but they are aware of the steps they need to take to ensure they are responsible. That stupid NBA player that was making fun of the virus, and rubbing his hands all over the microphones, but later tested positive for the virus really hit it home for them. Even if you are young and healthy, and COVID-19 likely won't be a huge deal for you, you might give it to your grandparents or a family member with diabetes or breathing issues. Then how would you feel? How would you feel if you did not treat it seriously, made fun of the situation, but you later were responsible for killing your grandmother? I think that really puts it into perspective for people. Everyone on my team is keeping a level head, but is treating the situation seriously.
Nobody in either production or fulfillment is currently sick, and any that do get sick know they need to stay home. We have a very young team, which is good for us. Most everyone is young and healthy and only a couple of our people are in the risk category. So that is good. However, it's not about them. It's about us being responsible to protect those in our lives that are in the risk category. If things progress further, I will not hesitate to alter our operations to protect my team and our community. So for now orders are going out like normal, but that can change quickly. So while I do want people to stay calm, if anyone does need something from us I would suggest getting it while we are still fully operational.
