Just noticed functional yeast extract on the shop.
I see it mentions immune benefits on the product page.
I was wondering how the yeast extract compares to Epicor?

What do you notice from turkey tail? I figured it was used just for immune boosting and delaying hemangiosarcoma cancer.

I mostly use it for immune modulation, but I also notice reductions in inflammation. But it was one recent study that piqued my interest in it for cognition.

So it looks like turkey tail might be able to help with adult hippocampal neurogenesis as well! That's pretty cool!
One thing that has really impressed me with turkey tail is what happened to my sister's dog. He was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer, and the vet gave him 3 months to live. Well I found some research that certain peptides in turkey tail showed promise in extending life in that same form of cancer in dogs. So I had my sister give 1 gram of our regular turkey tail extract in his meals each day. That was over a year and a half ago now, and the dog is still here. The vets are extremely surprised he has held on this long. Then recently my wife's dog was diagnosed with a tumor on his shoulder. They wanted to do a very invasive surgery that could mean he might lose his leg, and would cost like $10,000. He's 14 years old, so no way I am going to put him through that. Plus his liver function is waning. So the surgery alone could kill him. Knowing that my sister's dog had good luck with turkey tail, I started to give him 1,000mg a day along with Longvida. Well he is back to his normal self now, running around and happy. Before he was just laying on the floor and crying all day. The tumor is still there, but it has gone down some in mass. It might not be curing him, but it is drastically improving his life. So I know these are not clinical results in any way, but these results have me becoming a believer in it.
