Just noticed functional yeast extract on the shop.
I see it mentions immune benefits on the product page.
I was wondering how the yeast extract compares to Epicor?

Since we're on the subject of immune system complexity and testing, I was wondering if your tests had included how Immune Defense affected people both on and off caffeine, since it seems like the effectiveness of coffee to either help or harm the immune system can vary by individual, possibly due to genetics and other factors. Apparently caffeine is known to be anti-inflammatory, but not necessarily so for coffee, and most people drink coffee. I actually started drinking (bulletproof) coffee recently, not necessarily because I believe in the hype, but because I want to avoid dairy and sugar as much as possible in the morning when my blood sugar is most sensitive to fluctuation; so I'm interested if you found any significant interactions between coffee/caffeine and immune boosting substances.
Anecdotally I have found that I see noticeable improvement in my energy just from taking Vitamin C and B Complex, especially when I drink coffee, and as I have continued to add more immune boosting supplements to my morning stack, my energy levels and mood continue to improve. I have had hypothyroid issues for a long time which is why I tried to stay away from caffeine for so long, because I felt it overloaded my system. However, after switching to coffee (80-100mg of caffeine compared to the 150 in most pills) and taking steps to fortify my immune system, at least on the days when I d…

Yes, we had people taking it that drank tons of coffee and energy drinks and those that drink none. Nobody noticed any adverse interactions with anything they were taking. The only adverse interaction we had was a single person who got lightheaded on it, but he is weird. Seriously, he reacts weird to EVERYTHING! We were never able to have that side effect manifest in any other person trying it. So we chalked it up to him being strange again.
I don't think coffee has any significant effect on the immune function of the average person. The diuretic effect of acute coffee consumption in a naive state might have some, but that effect goes away in regular users. So if you are regularly drinking coffee, it should not adversely affect you if you are sick.
