Effect of Preloading Alcohol Defense?

I know Alcohol Defense is indicated for use after drinking alcohol, but what would be the effect of using it before drinking.

One thing I notice in there is some dihydromyricetin, which I use on its own before drinking to great success. Would Alcohol Defense also work well, perhaps even more effectively, when preloaded?

Can you please confirm whether I have been taking NAC correctly? My understanding was that it should be taken no less than 30 minutes before drinking. Ideally, what is the best time to take it and what kind of window am I looking at? My rough understanding was 2 hours before to 30 minutes before, otherwise skip it.
As always, all feedback is appreciated!

30 minutes is the most ideal. As long as it is in your system before you start drinking alcohol, you should be fine. Giving a 30 minute buffer to allow it to absorb can be a good idea, though.
