Why doesn't Nootropics Depot and Real Mushrooms provide terpene % for lion's mane?

I've read that terpene is the compound that differentiates lion's mane from other shrooms. If so, wouldn't it be common sense to isolate this compound and make it the primary selling point?

Wow, just wow. Thank you so much for taking the time to elaborate on this controversial issue. This is pretty mindblowing stuff to me, science-wise obviously, but more so the "conspiracy theory" angle of it all. I've been speaking to one of the mods ZombieChambers, who's been extremely helpful clarifying the misinformation/disinformation to the best of his abilities. I'm really shocked how helpful all the mods have been to despell rumors and propaganda.
Once again, I truly appreciate you breaking everything down for me into digestible bits. I still don't understand 100% of the science, but I get the gist of it. It's efforts like this that really instill trust and confidence in the customers.
I apologize for the belated reply. I just got back from a business trip the other day. My only question, after reviewing products from both your website and Real Mush, is in regards to pricing. Is there a specific reason why the lion's mane and cordyceps are not competitively priced vs Real Mush? Perhaps it's a direct reflection of the quality, or is it because ND is a bigger brand name, or a bit of both?
For example, Real Mush sells 120 capsules of lion's mane for $30. ND sells 60 capsules for $30. Same dosage.
Similar deal with cordyceps. Real Mush sells 120 capsules for $30. ND sells 60 caps for $25.
I read that you use the same supplier Nannex, although I've also learned you guy…

No problem! Glad I can help explain it a bit better.

You're comparing two different products. You are looking at the pricing for our 8:1 dual water/ethanol extract of lion's mane, but comparing it to RM's 1:1 powder. We offer two different lion's mane capsules. RM only offers the 1:1 in capsules.

I read that you use the same supplier Nannex, although I've also learned you guys have your own lab? So does that mean you're distilling your own supplements now, in-house?
Our in-house lab is for analytical testing, not for synthesis or extraction. So we analyze the products to ensure they meet our stringent specifications. We also work with a half dozen 3rd party labs as well, for methods or equipment we don't currently have. We partner with over 50 different suppliers for our ingredients. Nammex is just one of those suppliers.
Can't thank you enough. I've been getting PMs from a few users about this as well, so I think it would definitely benefit this sub to make a sticky thread, clarifying this matter on the banned supplement vendor, because there are actual threads popping up when I Google it, and people in the threads are actually siding with the narrative driven by the banned vendor/astroturfer. Instead of auto-deleting the name of the supplier, I really think you should allow people to inquire about it, because it's just bad optics, and it makes it easy to convince others there's a grand conspiracy that r/Nootropics is in cahoots with ND and that <banned supplier> is the greatest mushroom supplement company "they" don't want you to know.
I can speak to the other mods about it. We don't ban all discussion here surrounding them. If it looks like a legitimate customer asking legitimate questions, we will approve it. It's just often not, and seems very much like targeted propaganda. Sometimes the best solution to propaganda is to not allow it a venue to spread further. Perhaps that needs to be reassessed with the amount of push some of this information is getting outside of this forum, though. Nobody here is against valid scientific discussion. We actually welcome it. If another vendor comes up with a novel and scientifically valid improvement to a product, GREAT! That's awesome! Everyone here wants to advance nootropics. The last thing anyone wants to do it stifle innovation. It just has to be based in sound science, and independently verified. Just like the arguments against Paul Stamets are completely warranted. Show us the evidence and the scientific proof behind the claims. That's all anyone wants. If it makes sense, and can be independently verified, perfect! I'll welcome that data with open arms. I have no problem being wrong. I just need evidence. We all need evidence.
