Has anyone tried these? friend and fellow nootropic enthusiast gave me one just now and not too much info I can find online about them other than it's noticeably superior to normal caffeine.

We absolutely do not incentivize or encourage anyone posting here. Anyone that frequents /r/Nootropics would know that. There have only been 5 posts about it since we released it 5 months ago. We sent out 50,000 single-serve packets in ND orders over a few month period so that our customers could try it. So I am not surprised people have questions about it. We included an explanation card in the orders, which probably answered most questions. However, OP seems to have been given it by a friend. So he likely did not see the explanation card. We also stopped sending samples in orders a while back.

What is the best nootropic for someone looking primarily for a boost of energy and motivation that's stronger than caffeine but less extreme than amphetamines?

This is a big problem I am seeing with people new to nootropics. They want to immediately jump into a stack, and do not want to put in the time to try thing by themselves, and see how each one affects them in isolation.
