I've already ordered some Alcohol Defense and looking forward to trying it! But I have a question for you, related to what you said about people forgetting to take NAC before drinking. I've previously used DHM quite effectively to prevent hangovers. But similarly to NAC, I have to remember to take it after drinking but before going to bed. As you might imagine, the only thing harder than remembering to take something before drinking is remembering to take it once you've had a few!
Conversely, on the times I've woken up with a hangover and tried DHM for hangover relief, it's only made things worse. It makes me incredibly nauseous and miserable, and it's even made me throw up on more than one occasion. I guess that could be viewed as helping with the hangover, but not really what I was going for. I don't know the complete pharmacological explanation for this effect, but I imagine it has something to do with the DHM's operation on alcohol/acetalhyde dehydrogenase relative to what the body has already processed overnight.
Which leads me to my question: does the blend that you've constructed, of which DHM is only a component, help with the hangover if taken the next morning? Or is it still best or primarily effective if taken after drinking, but before bed, such as I've experienced with DHM alone? Thanks in advance for your insight, and as I said, I'm looking forward to t…

Absolutely! That was actually the most surprising part for me, other than the fact it sobers you up super quickly. Multiple of my employees forgot to take their Alcohol Defense after a night of drinking, and woke up with a bad hangover. They then took the Alcohol Defense, and in 20min or so they felt fine. I've since repeated this test as well. I have also used Alcohol Defense when I was not even drinking, and just had nausea. It clears up the nausea really quickly, regardless of alcohol or not.
I am not sure if you remember, but I did some testing with dihydromyricetin years ago. I found it to not really work unless you took like 5 grams of it, and then the side effects made it less than ideal. So when we started designing this stack, I figured we would not have it in there. However, we did some initial R&D formulations with it, and the results were very good. The other mechanisms we are hitting very much synergize with the DHM. We had to mess around with the amounts and ratios a bunch to find what works best, as that is key to making DHM work well. However, once we got the amounts and ratios right, it just worked.
We actually had a special dinner last night at Four Peaks Brewing, the main sponsor for the Oktoberfest here in town. A bunch of my team was there with me, along with all the beer chairs and Four Peaks guys. Of course we all drank a bunch of the beers that are going to be there, and took Alcohol Defense. We also gave samples to the beer chairs and Four Peaks people. Everyone I have gotten feedback from so far has loved it. Some early R&D formulas made it a little hard for people to sleep, but we adjusted things and now it actually helps you sleep better.
The one thing I should note is that it should not be used to drink more than you normally would. There is a point at which there is just too much alcohol in your system for it to completely prevent a hangover. It will certainly help, that's for sure. I have tested this a couple weeks ago. Not my proudest moment, but it was a very good test to see how it did with blackout levels of alcohol in my system. Without Alcohol Defense I would have been in bed all day. There is no doubt about that. Instead I was able to get up and go to my fiancee's grandpa's 85th birthday. I was definitely a bit hungover till I got food in me, but nowhere near what I would have been. So it works well, but just know that if you are blackout drunk, you are likely still not going to feel 100% the next day. I don't want people to think that taking Alcohol Defense can make them go absolutely nuts, and drink way more than they normally would. That's not the purpose of this stack.
