Examine being unbiased makes it leagues ahead of everything else out there. I don't think people here understand just how much of the internet is affiliate sites now. It's pay-to-play on most "informational" sites out there, and SEO and keyword analysis plays a larger role in the content than scientific evidence. I guarantee you that over 90% of the site you use to get information are profiting off you in some way. Then it's a race to the bottom with content. Whomever is okay writing whatever they need to get up in search rankings will win out over the people that are taking a more nuanced scientific approach. It actually really pisses me off. The internet is ruined, pretty much.
Is Examine the end all and be all of information? No, certainly not. It's a great place to start, though. I have a lot of respect for them because they have chosen not to play the affiliate game. Use them as a resource to find info, then read the full studies they reference. The same goes for Wikipedia. Always read the full studies to get the full picture. People's analysis is not always sound. However, at least you know Examine is not blowing smoke up your ass so that you will click on their affiliate link for a product and make a commission.
