The title pretty much explains what I'm lookking for. I'm looking for nootropics that mostly fly under the typical radar, but have huge potential. Things like microdosing LSD, semax and it's derivatives, etc. Just looking for substances to research that are outside of the mainstream.

Mmmmm sorry buddy but the original intention for the term was not just cognitive enhancer but to also be considered side effect free to some extent. Else we would not need a term to replace "cognitive enhancer"
We as a group are letting people run wild with this term slapping this label on anything remotely beneficial to memory or mood and many of these new or untested substances have little or no research as to the side effects. This is a critical mistake.
Let me make this clear... this WILL bite the community in the ass when five ten twenty years from now we realize we've been fucking our shit up with some substances and the nootropic name will forever be tarnished by that ignorance. People will come to associate this term negatively in a similar way bath salts/research chemicals did. While some of you may not give two fucks how people associate this term, "well I'm just capping my own shit, I don't make it public and no one bothers me about it blah blah blah" this is how shit gets blanket banned by FDA/DEA so you better start giving a fuck.
With this important distinction we can now understand why Methamphetamine isn't considered a nootropic.

I tend to agree with you, but good luck policing the usage of language. That never seems to work out, and can often backfire. I've had this discussion many many times over the years, and the split is always very heated.
