A general internet search yields so many conflicting results — what is actually the best brand?

What they were answering

Labdoor did a product report on ginseng, which you can find here:

https://labdoor.com/rankings/ginseng

I just started taking Solgar’s standardized Korean ginseng from that list, and I’m liking it’s effects at the office. It isn’t replacing coffee for me, but it definitely helps to eliminate brain fog and increases alertness/acuity quite a bit.

FYI: They STILL have NuSci's product up there, even though it is completely fake... Sure, they gave it a 0 for label accuracy now, when before they had it as their number 1 value. However, it took them over a year to change it, and it should get a big fat 0 in all categories, as it is not even panax ginseng, and is cut with maltodextrin! It says "This product is currently under investigation." in the notes section, but the results have been back for a long time. LabDoor PMed me about it, and said that the testing results confirmed what I was saying. A bigger deal should have been made with the number one value panax ginseng on LabDoor not even being panax ginseng, but that's just me, I guess.

A product having a score of 78 out of 100, when it is not even the plant it is supposed to be, is insanity! The only thing more insane was that it was listed as the number 1 value for panax ginseng on LabDoor for a year, even after I had been yelling about it being fake. The NuSci product is NOT panax ginseng. It does NOT have 10% ginsenosides. It only has 2.3%, and they are not the correct types. It is also FULL of maltodextrin. It's crazy to me that one and a half YEARS later I am still having to talk about this.

For the first time, a vertical farmed ginseng reproduces the effectiveness on the focus of wild ginseng in a double-blind clinical study. Its composition in rare ginsenosides (Rg5, Rg3, Rk1, Rh2, Rh4) is close to wild ginseng. The mind-boosting effect is felt from the first day.
