Cordyceps Nootropics Depot - loose stools and vomitting. I've taken cordyceps before with no issues

I'm wondering if others have had this issue with cordyceps. I took two capsules of ND's cordyceps last night and then 2 capsules this morning. Both were taken on an empty stomach. I had 2 loose stools and then just vomitted and could taste the cordyceps along with grapefruit i had for breakfast. I have taken wild tibetan cordyceps before (super expensive) and had no issues. Should I try just one capsule, do i start with too big a dose. Does anyone else experience these issues with ND's cordyceps? Do you have any advice on how i can avoid nausea next time. I like cordyceps and would like to continue to take it but will cease if i can't get this figured out.

I was going to ask if there was anything else that might do it. Adenosine, you say? I wasn't even familiar with adenosine's action in the gastrointestinal system. So I guess the adenosine causes somatostatin release, which delays digestion, causing upset? Or is there a direct inflammatory effect in the gut?
Do you have the assays regarding the quantities of these ingredients in your product? I ask this from a point of intense curiosity. I'd really like to know the exact dosages we're talking about.

Modulatory action of adenosine on gastric function and ethanol-induced mucosal damage in rats.
These findings indicate that adenosine modulates the physiological function of the stomach. It also directly activates the defensive mechanism of the stomach, which is partially mediated by the improvement of the gastric mucosal blood flow and an increase in the nonacid component of gastric secretion.
The 1:1 cordyceps extract contains .21% cordycepin and .11% adenosine. The 10:1 contains .49% cordycepin and .11% adenosine.
