There is absolutely zero way anything gets mispackaged and out to customers. We FTIR every finished lot before they are shrink-banded, as an extra precaution. So if someone did screw up, and put the wrong capsule in the wrong jar, we would catch it before it ever left our production facility, much less actually got onto the shelves and to a customer. Having an in-house lab allows for things not possible otherwise. We also have ridiculous tracking and sign-off procedures now. Seriously, we know every batch number for every component that goes into a lot. That includes the jars, caps, labels, and shrinkbands. So if you wanted to know the batch number of the shrinkband that was used on your bottle, we can tell you that now. Something as crazy as putting the wrong capsule in a jar labeled as something else is never going to happen with us. My production team is top-notch, and many have worked in other supplement companies or pharma production environments. So they know the seriousness of ensuring things are done properly, and we have given them the tools to be able to do it extremely well.
We use our 50% alpha-GPC for our capsules, for stability reasons and to ensure it flows across the machinery easier. Our 99% is too hygroscopic and unstable, and would stick to everything. So over half the capsules are stabilizers. Also, we have been switching up some of our encapsulation the past 6 months. So you may notice that something is in a smaller or larger capsule than before. That's just us adjusting formulations and machinery being used. We've also been switching up our 50% alpha-GPC formula a bit, to make it more stable and dissolve in water better. So the stabilizers we are using for the other 50% of the powder formulation have been changing. The most recent batches of alpha-GPC capsules were done in 00 capsules, since the machine we used for it does not have a size 0 tooling, and we needed to get it back into stock. Sometimes machines go down, or have parts that break as well. So rather than go out of stock while waiting for it to be repaired, we shift to other machines. Our main goal it to ensure things stay in stock.
My support team should be able to get you all the details of the production if you give them lot numbers. Also, PM me your details too, and I will follow up with them. However, I can absolutely say with 100% confidence there is nothing wrong with the capsules. I have that much confidence in my team and our processes. I also had a bottle pulled from the shelf when I saw this post, and had our lab analyze the contents. It's alpha-GPC. So nothing to worry about.
