Slow shipping with nootropics depot?

I order from Canada, and I am surprised at how slow nootropics depot ships orders. I've ordered twice now, and it takes around 3 weeks for an order to arrive, and in both cases they did not ship the package until 5 days after I had placed the order.
I order from US amazon regularly, and often get cheap stuff off Ebay from China and AliExpress. I've never had an order made through any vendor take as long as nootropics depot.
What's the deal? Has anyone else experienced slow shipping with their orders?
Edit: /u/MisterYouAreSoDumb looked into my orders and was generous enough to credit the shipping cost for my two orders. Apparently the standard mail service for shipments to Canada takes an unusually long time during domestic transfers within USA, and ND says they are looking into solutions. In the meantime, they recommend using DHL for Canadian international orders if you need the shipment sooner.

I ordered today and got a shipped email right away but they just made the label.
Hopefully they don't take too long, I thought they had a reputation for fast shipping.

I talked to OP via private message, and he thought we were in California. So he thought the delays were for us getting the package out. However, we are in Arizona. So the delays were actually UPS taking 4 days to get it from our facility in Arizona to theirs in California. Then the packages went out internationally. That's a really long time for UPS to be taking to go one state over. So my team is looking into why this is happening. Also, this is only for UPS Mail Innovations for international customers. Our shipments to US customers are about as fast as they possibly can be.
I'll figure out why UPS Mail Innovations to Canada is taking so long. It could be because of the holidays, but 4 days is crazy to go from Phoenix to Los Angeles. So if I need to switch services for standard mail, I certainly will.
