Why is GHK-Cu so expensive?

GHK-Cu is a tripeptide composed from Glycine, Histidine and Lysine, in a copper complex.
I'm not a professional in organic chemistry, but why does it cost so much to just join 3 amino acids together? Compared to other peptides, the price of GHK-Cu is very high.

Wait what?? I have to go through 5mg Orexin-A in 2 weeks even when I properly store it inside the fridge? Is there any way to extend it's shelf life then?

I'm being conservative on my estimates. However, I would certainly only mix it once you are wanting to use it, then use it within 4 weeks. It's a long peptide.
