Why is GHK-Cu so expensive?

GHK-Cu is a tripeptide composed from Glycine, Histidine and Lysine, in a copper complex.
I'm not a professional in organic chemistry, but why does it cost so much to just join 3 amino acids together? Compared to other peptides, the price of GHK-Cu is very high.

Sounds like for SubQ injections, GHK is the way to go, and for use as a topical cream, GHK-Cu would be favorable.

A bit simplistic, but I might agree.
