Why is GHK-Cu so expensive?

GHK-Cu is a tripeptide composed from Glycine, Histidine and Lysine, in a copper complex.
I'm not a professional in organic chemistry, but why does it cost so much to just join 3 amino acids together? Compared to other peptides, the price of GHK-Cu is very high.

Wouldnt GHK alone bind copper from blood extremely fast anyway?

Yes, it should readily form copper complexes in plasma.
