Nutraplanet said they synthesized some R a few years ago when everyone kept pinining for the "good old crystalline phenibut". They sold it as "Super phenibut".
Not sure about the Russian pharmaceutical phenibuts, I thought they were R?. Latvian Olainfarm sure has R-phenibut in their portfolio, http://olainfarm.lv/product/r-phenibut/

I doubt it was real. Without testing, I can't know for sure. However, I've contacted tons of labs all over the world about it; including in Russia and former Soviet states, and they all either refused to make it, or gave numbers 4-5X too high.

Negative. No retail phenibut product has ever been R-phenibut. Look at the status.

It's a pilot synth. It's never been a production synth. Even the Russian studies that use Noofen state that it is racemic. All the studies that investigate R-phenibut synthesize it themselves for the study, because there is no production R-phenibut. I'll find the study in a little bit, and link it for you.
