Hey guys,
This is the follow-up to my previous sulforaphane video: an in-depth interview with a very influential scientist in the field of isothiocyanate research. A lot of what we talk about is not as focused on the brain stuff as some of my last video was. It does get talked about, but maybe not as much. There are, however, answers to a lot of questions that you guys had for me that I couldn't answer very well before. Things like the efficacy of specific supplements, just to highlight an example. In fact, Dr. Fahey (my guest) sort of naturally gravitated to these very practical questions in a way that was much better than I could've possibly hoped for. For that reason, I'm actually very, very pleased with how the interview came out.
To sort of help out a little bit in getting to the meat of the podcast, I'm going to provide a timeline below. Maybe some of it will interest you, maybe some won't. Also, much like my previous podcast, this is available on iTunes in an audio-only format for listening in the car/gym/train or whate…

You're probably getting the Google autocorrect to "protaphane" instead of "proStaphane", it happened to me too and I was confused when I saw insulin. Tell it to use what you typed in (with the S) or go directly to the site here http://www.prostaphane.com/buy-prostaphane/prostaphane.html
For why this one is unique see these two (consecutive) segments of the video:
00:22:14 - practical information surrounding supplementation of sulforaphane.
00:27:05 - the effect one particular french sulforaphane supplement had on the doubling rate of PSA, which is a marker for prostate cancer recurrence in prostate cancer patients.

Ahh, that seems to be it. It's a broccoli seed extract. Interesting! I'll do some reading on it.
