Prl-8-53

Original post in this thread

Hey guys, I have a question as to whether your supposed to cycle prl-8-53 or you can take it continuously without downregulation or tolerance buildup. I'm unfamiliar with its MOA.

I don't currently take it every day but have noticed substantial mood Improvement when I take it. It also might be important to note that when I take it I might be mega dosing, probably around 25mg.

I take approximately 40mg of nsi-189 a day, Memantine low dose daily probably around 7mg, and p21 daily approx 2mg.

When i decide to add PRL into this stack it gives me significant mood Improvement. Any info on what I should or shouldn't be doing concerning this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for the info. Cholonergic system huh, so would it be a good idea to add a choline supplement also like alpha gpc? Is there another one you would suggest?

I vaguely remember someone suggesting that centrophenoxine is the best choline supplement but can't site the source. I also vaguely remember someone disputing it and saying centrophenoxine isn't a choline supplement at all.

Centrophenoxine is not a choline precursor like CDP choline or Alpha GPC is. However, it can increase acetylcholine levels in the brain using a different mechanism. Alpha GPC is basically an improved delivery system of choline to the brain. Centrophenoxine is an improved delivery system for DMAE to the brain. So it increases DMAE delivery to the brain, which in turn increases ACh levels. It's not a choline precursor, but helps increase acetylcholine levels in the brain. Make sense?

Has anyone tried Excelerol? I'm interested in trying it because it is apparently one of the best nootropics out there, but I'm a bit suspicious because I've never heard anyone talk about it on this subreddit.
