Cordyceps Cs-4 vs Cordyceps militaris, which is better?

Hi, I would like to try Cordyceps, but the price makes me have to think carefully.
/u/realmushrooms, Cordyceps Cs-4 has more research on it and is way cheaper, so what are the reasons to buy Cordyceps militaris, which is better for motivation? Does Cordyceps have cholinergic properties (aCHe inhibitor,....)? Cause I react badly to cholinergic stuff.
/u/MisterYouAreSoDumb, your CORDYCEPS 10:1 is more expensive yet why it has lower Beta-Glucan (β-Glucan) content (20% vs 30%)? Also, same question as above, does Cordyceps have cholinergic properties (aCHe inhibitor,....)?

Because the 10:1 is a dual water/ethanol extract, and beta-glucans are not as soluble in ethanol as they are in water. The 1:1 also does not get rid of any of the mushroom material. It's all kept in after the water extraction. So you lose none of the beta-glucans. The 10:1 uses 10kg of mushrooms to make 1kg of extract. So you concentrate the soluble compounds, but you lose some of the insoluble ones. There are a lot more than just beta-glucans in the mushrooms. That's only part of the story.
That being said, I personally use our 1:1 Cordyceps in capsules. I'll use the 10:1 on days when I am doing more physical activity, or need an extra boost. Cordycep militaris DOES have AChE inhibition properties, though. Cordyceps sinensis does as well. If you react poorly to cholinergics, then I would take it slow.
