[serious] Reducing libido slighttttly for increased focus

For those of us that have high libido, I would imagine that this can sometimes cause a distraction. I have a very high libido and I feel like it definitely impairs my concentration multiple times a day. Is there any safe way to slightly reduce your libido?

I've heard that propecia can do this, as it's a possible side effect. I also have some hair loss and slightly larger than average prostate for my age, and propecia main effects target both of those.

So I'm not really looking for a nootropic in the traditional sense, but if libido is causing me cognitive impairment indirectly, I would say what I'm looking for is still related to nootropics.

EDIT: pattern in the comments has been that if someone suggest a nootropic that decreases/increases their libido, another person will reply and say it has the opposite effect for them.

I'm almost eight years in at this point, should I be anticipating a fall? My dose has been stable for the last ~6 years, and I take short breaks from oxy when my health is particularly good.

Ha, 8 years? Well I would not expect a change at this point. However, drops in libido from opioids is very common. It's good you have been able to keep your dose steady, though!
