[X-Post /r/DrugNerds] Oxiracetam and LSD?

I recently took some LSD (300ug) a few hours after taking my morning dose of piracetam and oxiracetam (800mg and 300mg respectively). I had taken piracetam and LSD before in the past, but never with oxiracetam. Honestly, I should have researched the combo beforehand, but for whatever reason it didn't cross my mind to think about the fact that I had recently added in the oxi.
The trip seemed to be quite strongly potentiated, and I had some severe anxiety on the come-up. I'm generally quite good with psychedelic-induced anxiety, but this was something else. I also felt a strange sort of tingling/numbness on the left side of my face up to my temple, which had me feeling rather scared. It felt strange to smile, move my mouth, and talk. I was scatter-brained, anxious, and could not focus on anything for a fair bit. I quickly realized I hadn't eaten anything in a while and that I was actually hungry before I had the LSD, and that I should probably eat despite my complete lack of hunger. I went and bought some lunch (a really good healthy chicken salad with goat cheese, blueberries, beets, strawberries, pecans, etc.) and drank a bunch of water. The strange feelings and anxiety went away…

Cool, thanks.
Would you stop the racetams as DD suggested above? I've read a number of your posts suggesting that piracetam can be quite good for mitigating excitotoxicity, so I'm unsure.

Yes, I would for a bit. Take a good magnesium supplement, like magnesium glycinate, and some L-Theanine. That will help mitigate excitotoxicity and anxiety you have. Daily magnesium is good for everyone anyway, as most people are deficient. The L-Theanine will help naturally increase GABA levels.
