What is the current best Rhodiola brand?

Many of the older brands I can find by searching are discontinued. Can anyone recommend a good brand?

Gaia has popped up in the past as being a notably good brand, but they only standardize to rosavins and not salidroside. Why are they so highly recommended?

Also, is the idea that salidroside is stimulating and rosavins are calming, or something like that?

I'd prefer whole herb caps if possible, although I know a lot of people like Ceretropic's extract.

Our Super Rhodiola is not really an extract. It's a solution made with just pure salidroside and tryrosol, but no rosavins. In our testing, we found that rosavins actually made us more tired/calm. The stimulating/mood boosting compounds were salidroside and tryrosol. So we made a solution with the most salidroside and tryrosol out there.

If you wanted to test the difference between a high salidroside and high rosavin extract, my other company Nootropics Depot has both. We even have a sample pack where you can try a small jar of each, and see which you react to best.

Also, you can see we contracted out to Alkemist Labs, and ran a full HP-TLC and HPLC analysis of each extract, to verify the species and salidroside/rosavin content. Most places only estimate salidroside and rosavin content with UV-VIS, which always shows higher than HPLC. Any vendor you go with, ask for their analysis of salidroside and rosavin. I bet you they used UV-VIS, which makes their numbers actually lower.

We don't sell capsules yet, though. So if you really wanted caps, another brain like Gaia might be more convenient.

Has anyone tried Excelerol? I'm interested in trying it because it is apparently one of the best nootropics out there, but I'm a bit suspicious because I've never heard anyone talk about it on this subreddit.

Super Rhodiola?

Replying to cryptohasan · Yes, that was the one that popped up when I researched. I haven't tried it or the plant extract. I just want to know which one would yield better results (aka is stronger). I'm not

We renamed it Salidrosol, and moved it over to Natrium Health. Ceretropic is no more, unfortunately. We shut that down earlier this year. It's the same formula, though. We just renamed it for legal reasons. The idea beh
