Can we please start modding or moving Tianeptine user experience reports?

Or create another sub for personal experience posts?

There seems to be far too many posts asking the most basic of routinely detailed/explored questions as well as useless personal experience posts that, in conjunction, seem to cover the full spectrum of human emotion.

- Tianeptine makes me hungry
- Tianeptine makes me suicidal
- Tianpetine makes me happy
- Tianeptine reduces my appetite
- Tianeptine makes me shit funny
- Tinapetine makes me shit good

And especially this one:

- Tianeptine makes me feel shitty the next day or quite a bit after I take it, is this normal? (YES, especially when you're mega-dosing)

Here's a brief summary for anyone and everyone taking Tianpetine so we can stop posting about it:

- It's MOA is not totally understood. Supposedly it is (primarily) a SSRE that has some mysterious dopamine receptor potentiation qualities and circumstantial evidence for neuroprotection against particular stresses as well as the potential to increase BDNF and presumably neuroplasticity. Additionally, your particular response to Tianeptine will be dependent on your brain's current state of flux and your particular sensitivities. Tianeptine acts as a μ-opioid receptor an…

That sounds good. I tend to disable specific subreddit CSS but such added functionality would be worth it.

While I'm at it: another issue I've been thinking about, albeit it has some philosophical considerations, it the management of data and information regarding nootropic compounds for the sake of personal research. In my mind's eye, I picture a pharmacology wiki which is updated by the community and discussed in the subreddit. The issue though is mainly whether such complex, plentiful and sometimes contradictory scientific data _can_ be integrated meaningfully in an open framework at all without ending up in chaos.

And more concretely, 1) a lot of articles and studies are being posted in /r/Nootropics, I wonder whether it would be worth providing a (growing) list of articles for every compound (I'm really not sure it is at all). 2) If examine.com are willing to consider it, I'd gladly contribute to a crowdfuning campaign for them to examine less mainstream compounds such as ones /r/Nootropics is concerned with (I've offerered, they said they'll think about it).

Just some thoughts.

I just put up some tags to see how well it works. Let me know what you think of it, or if you have ideas on how to improve them.

As to your question, that would be a very demanding project. It could certainly be done. However, it would probably have to be hosted on a different site, so we could make it easier to manage. Examine does a good job of that with a lot of compounds. They seem to add more all the time. It might be easier to rely on their already proven framework.

[META] Modafinil discussions should not be prohibited anymore. The hype around it has died down, and it is still one of the most effective and safest nootropics.

My experiences with high dose (100mg+) tianeptine over a two month period
