People who have taken Semax for an extended period of time (5 years or longer) have you noticed any long term side effects? Or does anyone have links to studies that show long term side effects?

Semax was not really prevalent in the west until about 3 years ago, when we made it more affordable and accessible. So anyone using it regularly for longer than 5 years is either Russian, or someone from Longecity that was buying super expensive Russian drops, back when they were $180 for 30mg. Even then, the only reports were from people using it for a few weeks to a month, then stopping.
I've used it, plus the newer analogs, regularly for about 3 years. My first dose was a stupid miscalculation, and I took 24mg at once. So that still probably stands as the largest dose someone has tried. The only side effect was a slight headache for about an hour or so. As far as long term side effects go, there are really none that I can point to. It can make me a bit robotic after a while. I get tunnel vision, and it makes me less emotional. I get that with Noopept too, which is what leads me to think it is due to increased BDNF expression from the Proline-Glycine-Proline end. Noopept is just Phenylacetyl-Proline-Glycine, afterall. It does not affect my appetite meaningfully. If anything, it makes me less hungry. I do notice that I drink less alcohol now, which is a known effect from Semax. So I suppose that is good. Other than that, Semax has been one of, if not my most, favorite Nootropic compound.
Here is a folder of Semax studies I have that you can read through.
