Ashwagandha scores higher, probably due to the type of people that use it. Good ashwagandha really helps people with anxiety, which makes a drastic improvement in their mood/productivity. So I bet they score it a lot hig

Stress actually causes hypothyroidism, meaning lowering thyroid function. Ashwagandha can increase T3 and T4 in people with low function, but actually lower it in people with high function. So it is more of a regulator.
