Nootropic Depot just got 9 in today and I haven't heard of a single one of them.
Does anybody have any experience with them? Or better yet, any studies about effects? Are there some that are have been used for a longer time and others that are being used as a nootropic more recently?
I'm interested in where to start looking into this new stuff and all of my mushroom searches came up with Lions Mane.

Isn't there any concerns about over activating your immune system? Should only really sick people be using mushroom extracts?

Actually, these medicinal mushrooms not only increase the immune system when it is low, but lower it when it is too high. So they are more immunocorrectors. Ganoderma lucidum (Red Reishi), and Hericium erinaceum (Lion's Mane) has been shown to be very effective in treating Lupus, which is an overactive immune system.
