Anyone using pomegranate extract?

I saw nootropics depot is stocking a patented extract, and after digging a bit deeper, i found quite a few studies showing brain health benefits. I haven't really seen it mentioned much on this subreddit, so i'd thought if i'd ask if there's any users out there, and what their experiences are.

Pomegranates have some good evidence behind their antioxidant and cognitive-improving effects.
After 4 weeks, only the pomegranate group showed a significant improvement in the Buschke selective reminding test of verbal memory and a significant increase in plasma trolox-equivalent antioxidant capacity (TEAC) and urolithin A-glucuronide. Furthermore, compared to the placebo group, the pomegranate group had increased fMRI activity during verbal and visual memory tasks. While preliminary, these results suggest a role for pomegranate juice in augmenting memory function through task-related increases in functional brain activity.
Pomegranate Supplementation Protects against Memory Dysfunction after Heart Surgery: A Pilot Study
Patients undergoing elective coronary artery bypass graft and/or valve surgery were given either 2 g of pomegranate extract (in 2 POMx pills) or placebo (pills containing no pomegranate ingredients) per day from one week before surgery to 6 weeks after surgery. The patients were also administered a battery of neuropsychological tests to assess memory function at 1 week before surgery (baseline), 2 weeks after surgery, and 6 weeks after surgery. The placebo group had significant deficits in postsurgery memory retention, and the pomegranate treatment not only protected against this effect, but also actually improved memory retention performance for up to 6 weeks after surgery as compared to presurgery baseline performance.
There is a specific polyphenol compound in pomegranates, called Punicalagin, which seems to be leading to the best effects.

Some drug companies are even trying to make a modified punicalagin-based drug to treat Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.

So I figured bringing out a pomegranate extract would be a good edition. The fact that we are working more closely with Verdure, and they already had a clinically tested version, was perfect. I've been using it for a little over a week now. So far so good. It's super bitter, though. So dilute it in water, or cap it.
