Combating multiple, sudden dopamine drops?

Sorry if this is out of place for this sub but I've seen dopamine discussed here and I'm looking for help.
I'm hoping to find a supplement or something to mitigate sudden dopamine drops throughout the day. I have a friend that has a condition called D-MER and apparently it's uncommon enough that the doctors she's dealt with are not sure how to address it.
Basically what happens with D-MER is prolactin levels begin to rise (in lactating moms) and there has to be a drop in dopamine for this to occur. With D-MER the drop is so low and severe that it causes anxiety and anger. Dopamine levels begin to climb again and the person feels fine but this happens multiple times a day. In severe cases the patient is given anti-anxiety meds but I'm trying to help her find a less harsh treatment. Right now, at the suggestion of another friend, she is taking Rhodiola but it doesn't seem to be helping much.

I think he meant you'd be best to know options that are safe for pregnant women not that you are an expert on them :)

I don't want to go down the road where people think I am an expert on everything; especially things dealing with health recommendations for pregnant women. I know a lot about Nootropics, sure. It's what you don't know that causes issues. I am not knowledgeable enough with all the changes the body goes through during pregnancy to act as an authority on it.
