Out of professional curiosity, how have you dealt with 7,8 DHF's low solubility?

Well all the samples we have gotten of 7,8-DHF online (from THT, TLR, and another Chinese supplier) have all not matches Sigma Aldrich's reference standard. So we are not even sure if we are working with real 7,8-DHF in our test solutions. Colmeric Analyticals said there were too many protons in the NMR they ran on it to confirm its identity, and the HPLC they ran did not match Sigma's standard. We have a new 3rd party lab creating custom testing methods for us to determine what the deal is. Till then, I am not sure any of our solutions are pertinent to 7,8-DHF.
From a purely speculative perspective, it should be soluble in DMSO, and probably an alkaline water solution. Once we confirm we have real 7,8-DHF, we have a couple ideas we are going to try.
