Ceretropic Tianeptine Sulphate inconsistencies?

I ordered 2 grams of Tianeptine sulphate a couple months ago after reading many positive experiences here on Reddit. 25 mg twice a day has worked very well for me and I reordered 5 grams again a week ago.
My question is regarding the change in texture and taste. The first shipment of 2 grams had more of a grainy texture and did not dissolve quickly. The effects were gradual and very mild over the next several hours. Anxiety was greatly diminished and I found myself more motivated but otherwise, no side effects. Fantastic stuff!
My second order of 5 grams has a much thinner texture, like baking soda. I took my first dose only an hour ago and it dissolved immediately and tasted... a little different. Less bitter and more tangy? No difference in effectiveness that I can tell yet.
Wondering if this is normal variance in the batches or if I should be concerned. Thanks!

I don't know why, but fine versus granular phenibut HCl makes a big difference. It's fascinating, the number of variables that impose themselves on a pharmacological experience.

That's probably an absorption difference, as Phenibut HCL is pretty water soluble. The smaller particle size will make it absorb faster. Tianeptine Sulfate is not very water soluble; especially in low pH environments of the stomach.
