Share your hypothesis : Why are people increasingly dependent on psychostimulants and nootropics to function ?

A large chunk of the population couldn't function daily without caffeine, nicotine, Adderall and other stimulants. What's the deal ? Are we getting sicker ? Are we expanding over our biological limits ?

Don't forget Hitler!

There's a great documentary about Hitler's personal doctor who prescribed him many drugs, with doctors notes over a substantial period of time.

It's pretty hard not to forget Hitler. Although I referenced Churchill and Kennedy, because they are generally well respected. Telling people Hitler did drugs would usually lead to the opposite response. Haha
