Will memory-boosting NeuroGum chew into a share of the market?

I've watched enough of The Apprentice to know they could try :P. Seriously though they could get it put in various other sorts of shops such as newsagents, in the UK most of which are independent, as well as a company like Holland & Barrett.
I could easily see a company like H&B add it to their catalog. That's a great place for that kind of thing actually. If the big companies did keep it out of big supermarkets, this coupled with the fact that the gum also works (I'm assuming it does) I think would make it more attractive than it would be anyway to smaller shops and specialist companies because they know people would have to buy it from them instead of just picking it up at Asda or Sainsburys with their groceries.
If someone needs to seek out this gum it's going to obviously limit the number of potential customers quite a bit, but if it's near the Pre-Workouts near the till of a "health" food store like H&B that's probably going to be quite attractive. The fact that they can apparently get away with selling protein bars for stupid money shows it would sell, as would your version of 5-hour energy. And if it works they'd keep buying it, so you get the impulse buyers and return customers. So ok, it might not get as much money as it might if it were sold in the big supermarkets as well, but it would still be making much more, and maybe most importantly much more easily since…

No, that's a fairly accurate assessment. It is going to come down to how much of a push they make to get in front of people; whether that be advertising, supermarkets, or resellers. However, it is going to be a battle they will have to take on quickly, so as not to lose steam.
