I take quite a few nootropics and an occasional rc drug. A few times my lower face has swolen to absurd proportions. Mainly my jowls, lips (huge) and upper neck. No pain or breathing restriction so I did not seek medical advice (plus I thought it might be an RC.) I looked grotesque. My loving dog sniffed my hand to make sure it was me!
After a bit of trial and error I figured out it was Vinpocetine. I had been using only 10mg and letting it dissolve under my tongue 3 times daily.
Any body else ever experience this? (hope not)

I love the effects of Vinpocetine, but it always lowers my immune function. I start to get sick 4-5 days after using it daily. The immune lowering effects are pretty well documented. Yours sounds more like an allergic reaction, though. Vinpocetine being the source would not surprise me.
