Negative posts about vendors.

Hi.
I see these about once a week, I guess. Mostly just people overreacting or not having contacted the vendor first for resolution. In each case I've seen, the vendor responded normally to the post and usually got things worked out with the buyer.
One recent looked like fraud, not revealed until the vendor investigated and replied, until which time the complaint was here and unanswered. Seems to be gone now.
Is there a standard method for dealing with vendor complaints? What are some better ways to handle such things? There's a hidden good in the vendor being able to redeem themselves in the face of a public charge, but until then it's just out there - and sometimes a vendor may miss such a thread.

Never have I once seen a reasonable resolution with the respected vendors who are active on this sub.
...it happens about once a week. Just search ceretropic or powdercity. Or nail + candy bar. (Awakebrain).
That poster did post a followup. I know we make mistakes, but, dang.
/u/misteryouaresodumb has invested a lot into a burgeoning and potentially risky business marketed from what I can tell entirely on his reputation, and ceretropic has really gone above and beyond for me with customer service. I can't do anything in return except keep buying stuff (seems to be working; roughly sixty days out from sweeping his floors and breaking down boxes in exchange for semax sprays) and recommending in a place where most people already got that message.
I don't recommend outside of here; in fact I de/relabel all his product so if I die of some dumb shit his name isn't all over weird powders in my home.
Most of the other vendors here seem to build similar relationships and really look out for their customers/community.
So it's frustrating to see shitty hatchet jobs with such frequency.

Well I exclude myself from any rules regarding deleting posts anyway, to prevent claims of bias. So I just have to address things when they come up.
We delete posts about other vendors if there is reason to suspect dishonesty or fraud. That is what happened with the post today. We removed it after some new information came to light. We talk a lot behind the scenes on things, and catch most stuff. Some things are not so clear cut, though.
I think it is funny that you delabel stuff! Haha
