1.2mg of NA Semax and...nothing. Is this even possible?

I must confess being a little disappointed. I'm not looking for a massive effect but I honestly have no way of telling if its saline spray or Semax. If the acute effects are so absent, does this indicate anything about the long-term effects? I suppose I could try sub-q but this would mean buying more peptide and bs water etc etc without knowing if it would even be worth it. Thoughts?

Yep, subq for all of them. I tried the acetylated ones intranasally, too, but didn't really notice anything. I tried some plain Semax after that and it worked as well as it always has.
I really don't get the NA-selank, though; I respond very well to original and love the way it destroys edginess and thought the new one would be as great as everyone is saying but the most I've gotten out of it is somnolence (at high doses). Kind of weird because high doses of regular Selank are actually activating for me.

Well hot damn, this is a cool little conundrum! The acetyl group must either be altering the binding affinity enough that it does not activate them as efficiently, or it must be lowering the transport across the blood brain barrier. I would have said that it might not be absorbing through your mucous membranes as well. However, you did Sub-Q too. So that cannot be it. It has to be an alteration of the charge of the molecule not working with your receptors (the shape of everyone's receptors varies a bit), or you have a unique transport issue with the BBB.
Have you tried NALT before? Ever compared it to regular L-Tyrosine? Also, the N-Acetyl Semax Amidate has a different charge than the straight N-Acetyl Semax. I would be very curious if you react to that better. Very interesting indeed!
