1.2mg of NA Semax and...nothing. Is this even possible?

I must confess being a little disappointed. I'm not looking for a massive effect but I honestly have no way of telling if its saline spray or Semax. If the acute effects are so absent, does this indicate anything about the long-term effects? I suppose I could try sub-q but this would mean buying more peptide and bs water etc etc without knowing if it would even be worth it. Thoughts?

It's the same peptide sequence, but with an acetyl group off the N-terminus. Think of the difference between L-Cysteine and N-Acetyl Cysteine, or L-Tyrosine and NALT.
