Cat licked up some tianeptine, is he going to be ok?

Hey guys, I was scooping out some tianeptine and had the silica packet in the cap off to the side. My cat jumped up and licked some of the powder off the packet. He made a few motions like he was clearly displeased with the taste but then licked it again and made the same movements.
I'm sure he will be fine, but is my cat going to be ok? From now on I'm going to put him outside before messing around with powder.

I thought you'd think we'd think that.
They don't really do nootropic studies with primates, do they? I think it would be fascinating to give a Bonobo tribe an unlimited supply of tianeptine solution and see how it affects the social and proactive dynamics of the community.

They do some primate studies with nootropics. They usually come after rat/mouse studies, before transitioning to human trials.
We would have to have a control group. We'd need two Bonobo groups close to each other, but with no direct contact. Then we'd figure out a way to get one to take Tianeptine (sulfate of course), and have the other go without it. Then at the end of the study, we pick one from each group, and have them fight to the death, as is tradition.
