Do the tianeptine droppers degrade overtime?

I'm wondering because I have purchased Ceretropic's tianeptine sublingual dropper a long time back. Not really sure when, but it must have been at least a year by now. I was wondering if it still has the potency it once has... Do I just have to shake it? I do notice a lot of settling on the bottom.
Also, would it be okay to take it with something like orange juice? Not a big fan of the taste, even though it is masked, it still tastes like something you'd get at the dentist office. And it lingers for quite a while, too.

Thanks again. I put it in a cup of boiling water from my water boiler for about 10 minutes. Was wondering if the tianeptine is supposed to be more "fluid" like as opposed to being gooey. I remembered the taking it when it was "gooey" and was wondering if that could make a difference in its potency or not. Hope I didn't ruin it or anything. Just being paranoid but hoping it works. How long do the effects last and what's the largest harmless dose you could take?
Was wondering if I could just take it later because I need to go somewhere soon and not feel "weird" the next day if it happens to make me feel weird during the dose.

It's more fluid when fully solvated, and more gooey if the Tianeptine as fallen out of solution. Potency should not be affected either way. It's just easier to dose when fully solvated. The effects last roughly 3 hours.
