Allergic Reactions
Original post in this thread

Has anyone experienced allergic reactions to some herbal nootropics? (Mainly fatigue, or possibly lowered ferritin levels from consistent allergic reactions)
For example:
* Ashwagandha
* Rhodiola Rosea
* Bacopa
* Turmeric/Curcumin
* Maca (gelatinized)

Perhaps fermented foods is a direction to explore. I wish I had some studies to hand, but there's supposedly a larger number and variety of bacteria present through fermentation then probiotic supplements - in theory resulting in an increased likelihood of some of the bacteria surviving the acidic conditions in the stomach.
A fecal transplant is probably the most guaranteed way to go though, a lot of the information surrounding probiotics is seems awfully confusing, and pushes the idea that they might only be beneficial to people who have compromised guts from diseases and such.

I drink kombucha a lot. Doesn't seem to help much lately. I might need to break down and see a specialist. I know my microbiome is all fucked from almost dying in India. I think a fecal transplant is the best way to get back to normal. Maybe from my mom, to get me back to how I was.
