Why is Amineptine nowhere to be found?

I've read its similar to tianeptine and provides stimulation as well. Seems like it would be a good nootropic and appears to be unscheduled in the USA. Please enlighten my naïveté, thank you!

It's illegal in China. You would have to use a lab in another country. I've already looked a bit.
