I know it had nothing to do with the company, I wanted to ask online because the only thing that made sense to me was that it was being held up because I was ordering a white powder... as dumb as that sounds it freaked me out for a second.

Domestic packages are protected by privacy laws. They are not allowed to open the packages if they are sent through USPS. You have nothing to worry about there. Only customs can open international packages as they cross the border.
