Himalaya Brand

Hey everyone. I've been taking Himalaya brand Ashwagandha for a month. Although I did some research into heavy metal content before I bought the product, the lack of evidence behind Himalaya brand being "clean" is troubling. After a hour of research, I have found conflicting claims. I am thinking about putting the product down out of uncertainty of safety.

Could we discuss the Himalaya brand and if our fellow seekers should trust this company?

What they were answering

Huh... I know a lot of health store clerks who are big fans of their products. I've always found their herbal formulations intriguing becuase they use exotic or unusual herbs (their LiverCare, for instance, doesn't include milk thistle).

Seems to have a lot of anecdotal support as a brand, though. I havent used any of their products extensively enough to weigh in, myself. Sad to hear their assholes, though. Were you corresponding with multiple people within their company or someone high up?

Yeah, I had them let me speak to managers. I told them we were analyzing heavy metals and purity of various vendors' Bacopa. They said that they cannot give me any COAs or purity analysis. It was not their policy to release those to the public. They said to trust them, they were well below the limits. I kept pushing them for more info, and they just ignored me. I wrote to higher ups at the company, saying that I was being ignored by their managers, and they ignored me too.

They don't carry anything that you cannot find in another brand. I would not use them.

We don't put any Chinese manufacturer COAs up. Those are worthless. The ones we put up are ours, based on the testing we do internally. We don't use Colmeric much anymore. I sent too many people his way, and he was inund
