Yeah, I recall a study that controlled for bruxism and xerostomia, yet still found there were adverse effects. I will have to try and find it again.

I believe there was a study that controlled for poor mouth hygiene, and still found oral side effects with meth use. I think they postulated that the vasoconstriction alone was having a detrimental effect.
