A Thank You To The Community

I turned to nootropics to treat my post concussive syndrome, which through a cascade of effects triggered recurring depression and a period of intense anxiety in addition to the cognitive deficits common of traumatic brain injury. In conjunction with that I also suffered from constant waking Migraines and increasing social anxiety.

I found through this community that Noopept showed strong anecdotal promise of being able to treat TBI induced cognitive deficits, as well as having a significant mood boost capability which seemed perfect for the condition I was in last year. I had previously tried amytriptaline(a trycyclic antidepressant used to treat post concussive disorder), amantadine (an NMDA antagonist), Fluoxetine (generic Prozac), and Zoloft (Sertraline) before deciding that SSRIs and Typical Antidepressants were not the answer. I found some relief with amantadine initially, but i quickly developed insomnia and had to discontinue use.

I discovered at first that Noopept 20 mg x2 daily produced the best focus and migraine reduction. I soon added 500mg choline bitartrate, 500mg inositol, 500 mg ALCAR, 1000mg Flax seed omega 3 extract…

I'm not entirely convinced that serotonin doesn't play a role in the case of IBS particularly high serotonin (sorry im on mobile so I can't direct link, forgive my copy paste). Though the opioid affinity would definitely play a role in mitigating the severity of pain.

Ohh, that could very well be. It's just that Tianeptine does not affect serotonin very much. So I would not think that is the MOA it is using to give you relief.

My experiences with high dose (100mg+) tianeptine over a two month period

You need to start tapering off it now! You are not using it properly, and are going to cause yourself harm. Tianeptine is hard on the liver at those dosages. It is not meant to be taken at 650mg/day. Your usage is irresp
